Outdoor Playspaces – Seven Features that Your Kids Will Love

We recently moved to the country and since then I’ve been toying around with the idea of creating different outdoor playspaces in our backyard. A natural playspace is nothing like a traditional playground – it can be created inexpensively, and in some cases completely free, by using natural, existing, recycled and repurposed materials. The design can be as simple or as elaborate as you and your children want it to be – just remember to let them take an active part in the process and shape the space in a way that invites to imaginative and open-ended play!

If you’d like to know how to create a natural playspace that your kids will love, head over to Jennifer at MommyHiker today to read my guest post about seven kid-friendly features of a playspace that will captivate your children for hours on end! And check out her blog while you’re over there – like me, Jennifer blogs to inspire other parents to get outside with their kids and she has a lot of great information.
